Major Changes coming to Tonya Dailey Photography!!

I am in the process of making some HUGE changes to Tonya Dailey Photography, for starters this will be my last year working with children under 6yr old unless its for editorial/commercial, and headshot jobs. This will also be my last year taking on any new portrait families, I will continue to work with clients that have been with me for over 2yrs.

My main focus now will be headshots and working with special needs children. I’m also in the process of introducing something new this summer that I’m extremely excited about. This has been a decision I have been thinking about for a few years now, and finally going through with it after lots of prayer.

Little Lesiw Casting Call : Girls 4-6yr old

Excited to say Little Lesiw has requested that Houston child photographer, Tonya Dailey work with them again photographing their adorable blooms!! It’s been a few years since the last shoot, and we’re excited that their new owner Dawn wants to continue using Tonya, and show off her new bloom creations.

For this casting we need about 5 children and one baby girl that’s able to sit up on her own (not walking), and doesn’t have a problem with bows or headbands in her hair. For my 4-6yr olds they need to be able to follow direction very well. At this age children are very hyper and active but we really need children that are easy to work with.

Children’s photographer, Tonya Dailey is revamping her website and in need of models between the ages of 8-12yrs old. We are looking for kids (boys & girls) from all walks of life, nationalities, and sizes, kids who have their own style and awesome personalities:

*City Kids
*Country Kids
*Inner City Kids
*Suburban Kids

Children must be well mannered and able to follow simple instructions without much coaching, parents must be easy to work with and not too pushy. Looking for models that have a pretty open schedule throughout the month of April, this casting is also great for homeschool kids who are able to shoot during the weekdays. Also looking to photograph children in their homes, so if your child has a really awesome looking bedroom/playroom please submit.

New Down Syndrome Photo Display…..Coming Soon!!

Hooooray!!! I am finally able to say that I’m almost finish with my current project featuring children with Down Syndrome. The new images I have shot will be displayed in the new Texas Children’s Hospital Down Syndrome clinic. They have recently moved to their new location off 8080 N. Stadium Dr.

I have to say the new facility is beautiful, and I’m honored that my images will hang in several of their meeting rooms. Right now I’m working on photographing the last set of children, and we currently have a few spots still available if parents are interested in having their children featured. I have been flooded with headshots since the New Year so it was really fun to do something crazy with this adorable little girl. The location was so awesome we didn’t even get a chance to take full advantage of all the scenary. So I’m excited about going back with my senior kids in the coming weeks.

I’m so used to photographing girls looking all cute and prissy, so for this shoot mom and I went for something a bit wild and crazy.

Casting Call: Accepting Applications for 2014 High School Senior Reps!!

Tonya Dailey Photography is currently looking for 7 girls from various schools to join our “SENIOR REP TEAM“. Reps who join our team and promote our brand exclusively will receive a FREE mini session in the Spring of their junior year, and a full session in the Fall of their senior year. Applicants must be high school juniors, and they are required to get parental permission to participate. Parents also need to sign a model release form giving us permission to use the images for marketing and advertisement. Reps required to have an active Facebook page and Instagram to be considered.

Reps that promote our brand throughout their community and school can also walk away with free pictures, gallery albums, gift cards, and even a FREE iPad Mini!!

I am proud to announce that I will be venturing into a new and exciting journey in the New Year. This is something I been wanting to do way before photography, and now I’m taking that huge step forward to make that dream a reality. Right now I am working with a group of awesome and talented individuals to make this new adventure a huge success in the Houston metro area. I wish I could share now, but I’m working day and night to make sure everything is in order. I’m hoping to make the announcement New Years Day!!!!

I have been neglecting my blog and feel so bad, but it’s been a crazy end of the year and I’m not talking about family portraits, but HEADSHOTS GALORE!!!!!! Models, pageant contestants, college submissions & sorority, actors/actress, corporate, and many many more.

I’m so excited to see what the New Year brings and looking forward to working with my current clients and also the new comers. But on the lookout for a new and improved headshot site.
